Watch Repairs
The Kronos service centers is dedicated to watches and clocks; We provide fast efficient battery and band replacements for standard brands like Timex, Citizen & Seiko; as well as a full range of services including overhauls, restorations and refinishing for fine timepieces like, Breitling, Longines, Omega, Tag, Movado Hamilton, Rolex and more
We have the latest state of the art instruments to make sure your watch is diagnosed, cleaned and tested to ensure its accuracy, water resistance, and reliability are within manufacturer’s specification’s.
Our Watchmakers are masters of their craft, receiving many hours of formal training; each having years of experience on Swiss movements. We’ve developed techniques for expanding metal bands beyond the original full length, and for repairing links and clasps that are bent, broken and won’t stay closed.
With our new service center, even the most impossible repairs are now possible.
Water Pressure Testing
Many modern watches and most finer watches require water pressure testing after a battery replacement. We’ve invested in the best instruments for testing water resistance. Before we open your watch we run an initial test to verify it meets the stated rating. If it fails this initial test we’ll locate the leak and correct the problem.
Dive watches
We also have tools enabling us to open and perform battery replacements and pressure tests on Dive watches including Citizen aqualand and Omega Seamaster; ensuring your seal integrity with both a pressure and vacuum test.
Engraving services
We can personalize your watch, jewelry or other items; Kronos now has the latest in photo engraving technology. Our machine can do simple text engravings of any font type or more complex jobs like photos and graphics at resolutions up to 529dpi. We can engrave flat or curved surfaces such as pens, cuff links or pendants; and on a variety of materials including iron, stainless steel, brass, platinum, aluminum, gold, silver, copper, acrylic and metallic stickers. We also offer a range of engraveable items like nameplates, serial ID tags, jewelry boxes and more.
Restoration, Appraisals and Consignment Service
Vintage timepieces are a real treasure, but some replacement parts are difficult to find. We can retrofit most vintage watches to a quartz battery operated function, giving it the accuracy and reliability of a modern watch, while retaining the original beauty of the timepiece.
If you have a nonworking antique, vintage watch or clock you want to sell, but can't afford to have it repaired, We also offer a convenient restoration for consignment service. We’ll perform a full appraisal at the restored value, do a complete restoration, and then manage the sale of the item. Our fee is a percentage of the final sale. The rest is your income.
